The rooms are clean and well cared for, though they look very much like the 1980s or 1990s, and the bathroom could especially use an update. The forest-edge location is great, and the reception, bar, and kitchen staff are all friendly and helpful. The food isn’t fantastic, but they’re always willing to make something for you. Breakfast was very good, with their own takes on spreads and dressings, plus local specialties. I’d visit again.

I had a very good stay. The location is great, the staff are friendly, and the food is nice. I just wish the pillows were better.

The staff were amazing. I came to reception with a problem, and the receptionist was really helpful, calling several numbers to find the right person for me. The restaurant and kitchen staff were friendly too. We arrived late and hungry and asked for a small vegan dinner. Even though the kitchen was officially closed, the waitress and a kitchen employee still made us really tasty focaccia with fresh pesto. It’s rare to get such great customer service in Germany.

Mohamed at reception was especially helpful with our unusual request, five stars for him. The room was cozy and clean, though it was missing a bedside table and lamp. It’s in a good spot in the middle of the forest. Breakfast was fresh and had a good variety. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to visit the spa facilities.

The rooms are simple but nice, and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. This place was a lot better than many reviews suggest. Nowhere does it say to expect five-star amenities. Thanks for having us.
