Schlosshotel Ingelfingen

We’ve stayed at the Schloss hotel several times, and it’s easily one of our favorites. Set among green hills and vineyards in the heart of the Kocher valley, there are lovely walks all around. The hotel is well equipped and well maintained, with parking just across the street. Meals are prepared on site, and we’ve enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. The terrace behind the hotel looks out over a beautiful park, a great spot for an afternoon drink or evening meal. Booking and check-in were smooth, and the service was very good. Highly recommend.

We arrived after an overnight flight and were welcomed right away. They let us check in early as soon as a room was ready, which meant we could get a short sleep before meeting family. The quiet, spotless room had everything we needed, including a large bed, space for our suitcases, and plenty of room to hang clothes. Breakfast was good and served in a lovely room, and all the staff were friendly and attentive. The man who checked us in and out was especially outstanding. We have family nearby and will definitely return. The Altstadt location is convenient, and there’s free parking on site.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was very good, with a big choice of hot and cold food. The restaurant dinner was amazing. I’d go back just for that, and the hotel itself was very comfortable.

The service and staff were great, and the prices were acceptable, but I can only give four stars because of three problems. The WiFi was painfully slow, and lots of regular sites, including Netflix, were blocked. There didn’t seem to be any night staff either. I waited on the street for an hour until another guest luckily opened the door. Also, room sizes vary a lot at the same price, with some rooms about half the size of others.
