The room was large and in very good shape, and it was very quiet. The place is idyllic and close to where we had our course. Breakfast was nice, with a wide selection. I also liked the detail of having the room number on the wine bottles, though all the wines are tempting.

There are plenty of other restaurants within walking distance, but check their opening hours and accepted payment methods first. The train station is about a 30-minute walk away. The hotel's wine store and restaurant are a seven-minute walk away, with very good food in a beautiful setting. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, and nice, though it feels geared toward the winery shop, conference rooms, and restaurant. European breakfast is included, and you can check yourself in if you arrive after 11 a.m. Street-facing rooms can get late-night and early-morning noise from people walking by, cars, kids, dogs, and neighbors.

Our room had a balcony overlooking the vineyard, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. There's free parking, a large bathroom shower, and a make-up mirror. The hotel is dog friendly, and the breakfast buffet was good. Wines from the region are available to try from a fridge in the lobby. It's about a 30-minute walk to the Ingelheim train station. Nearby are Merano and Burger Basement, along with local vineyards and wine tasting. Beautifully set among Ingelheim's Southern Vineyard area. We're looking forward to staying again.

There isn't much to eat at the hotel apart from breakfast, some beverages, and cake. Luckily, several nice restaurants are within walking distance. It's a compact place with a homely feel.
