A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel "Das Bergmayr - Chiemgauer Alpenhotel" is located in Inzell. This hotel is located in walking distance from the city center. The included breakfast was generous and tasty, and the restaurant serves a modest but decent range of food. There’s also a wellness area with two saunas and a pool. The saunas are small, up to four people, while the pool is 1.6 m deep and not very large. It was just right for cooling off after the sauna. Staff were very friendly and spoke German and English. The Bergmayr works for solo travelers, couples, and families. There’s plenty to see and do nearby, and guests get a special card for free activities. The views are beautiful, the air is fresh, and the place has an authentic Bavarian feel. You can rent a bike for 4 or 8 hours, for €15 or €30. Our room had a TV. Comfort rooms are larger than Standard rooms and suit families well. Parking is €5 per night. There are quite a few spaces on the property, but they don’t take responsibility if you can’t find one. We’d recommend staying here and will come back.

The rooms are roomy, the hotel feels new and very nice, and breakfast was wonderful. The staff were amazing. I did find it odd that the room had a kitchen but no dishes or cutlery. Reception sent me to the restaurant, where they said those items weren’t usually kept in the rooms. The person there was really nice and lent me some anyway. Why have a kitchen without forks? I’m sure they can sort out this small detail quickly.

We were traveling toward Croatia and needed somewhere for one night with our 3- and 6-year-olds. The small apartment turned out to be plenty for us. The main room is actually the living room, with a large double bed and a table for eating, plus a separate room with two beds that worked perfectly for the kids. It’s cozy, with lots of handmade wooden furniture, and the bathroom is modern and nicely decorated. The building was rather noisy, especially when neighboring children were running around, though we could manage it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is worth having, with lots of variety and fresh quality. A great place to stop while passing through.

Our kids are picky about trips and always want to be entertained, but they rated this holiday excellent and are keen to return for the activities we didn’t get to do. The Chiemgau Card gives access to lots of free activities, and there’s plenty to do around the area. We came to the Bergmayr Hotel for the first time on a spontaneous family getaway, staying in Room 63, a two-bedroom apartment. It was spacious, very clean, and tucked into an upper corner of the building, so it was quiet. My kids are sensitive to dust and had no problems during the stay. Reception, breakfast, and dinner staff were all very friendly. I can only recommend it.

We expected a family room but were given a whole mini-apartment. The place was neat and clean, and the WiFi worked great throughout the building and around it. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the traditional Bavarian food was really tasty. We were there off-season, so the pool and saunas were very quiet.
