The owners were lovely to chat with over breakfast, which was excellent and left nothing to be desired. They make you feel as if you're staying in their home. The rooms are beautiful and spotless, with furnishings that reflect their personal taste rather than a standard hotel style. There's an interesting mix of fine and creative arts around the place. A wonderful stay, well away from the usual hotel crowd.

The beds were comfortable and the night was really quiet. Rooms are a good size and very clean, and the whole place is clearly well cared for. It's a charming little hotel full of art, and the owners made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Highly recommend for a night or two.

Parking right outside the door on the property was a plus, and we could check in until 10 p.m. with checkout by 10 a.m. There are paintings and other artwork for sale throughout, which adds to the nice atmosphere. The owners keep in close touch with guests and create a family feeling. Breakfast has a bit of everything and is fresh each day. I've rarely seen room cleaning done so thoroughly. If I need a hotel in Hanover or nearby again, I'd gladly return. :)

A good hotel, close to Hanover and the Otbahn.

6/10
The hosts are lively and good to chat with, and the service is flickering. The hotel has a lovely feel as soon as you walk in. The room is like a large gallery, with paintings and statues by many artists, all for sale. Room size is reasonable, but the bed is a little disappointing. The pillow and duvet are downright hopeless: the pillow is huge and lumpy, and the duvet's material wasn't particularly good.
