The staff were really helpful, and my room and bathroom felt spacious and warm. The location is nice too. My only complaint is the pillows, which were too big and stiff for me. I still enjoyed my stay.

We had a great weekend getaway. The owner and all the staff were kind and available whenever we needed them. The location worked well, with the city center, bars, and restaurants nearby, so we could walk around town and enjoy the area. The room was beautiful and clean, and the bathroom was super clean too. Amazing experience, and I hope to come back :)

The staff were very helpful, and the room had plenty of space, a large bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. Pension Bertha was a great place to stay while visiting Jena.

I've been visiting Jena from time to time for years, and Bertha is now my favorite pension or hotel here. The location is a big part of it: it's next to Jena West train station and still close to the city center. The rooms are large and clean, the place is calm, and the service is great. I'm happy with what I paid for that quality of service. Recommended.
