Hotel Garni Alt Büttgen is in a very quiet, peaceful area, and the staff were welcoming and hospitable throughout my pleasant stay. For a 2-star hotel, the facilities were clean and comfortable, and entirely satisfactory. I also found the breakfast tasty, with a good choice of options. It’s just a short walk (5min) to the railway station, and from there Düsseldorf Hbf is about 20 minutes away, which is convenient for business trips or sightseeing. The price is very reasonable, so it’s good value. I’d highly recommend Hotel Garni Alt Büttgen to anyone wanting a calm, comfortable, budget-friendly stay near Düsseldorf.

The staff were nice, and it’s a good hotel. Just be aware there’s no elevator, so carrying big luggage up to the second floor can be inconvenient.

For a business trip, this was just the simple, decent place I needed. The price was good, the bedding was decent, and the welcome was really friendly. My room was spotless. I didn't book breakfast, so I can't say anything about that.
