We keep coming back to Gasthof Küssaburg, and the fresh salads are still a highlight. The Fischknusper salad is especially good, and the Apfelstrudel is one of our favourite treats among the pastries and cakes, Black Forest cake included. Schnitzels are medium-sized and usually come with fries; the other portions are generous. On a sunny day, lunch outside on the terrace is lovely. The restaurant is spacious, the beer is cold, service is brisk, and the food has been consistently good over the years. There are peaceful trails nearby, and plenty of cyclists stop in. It sits up on Küssaberg near the castle ruins, a short drive from Bad Zurzach and close to the German-Swiss border. Families have room to relax too: children can run around, see ponies and small animals like hamsters and rabbits. Parking has never been a problem for us. A relaxed, dependable spot for brunch or lunch on a Sunday.

The garden is a nice place to sit outside for lunch, and there's plenty of parking. The schnitzel was great, with some good beer choices too. Dessert options were good, including Black Forest cake.

The service people are so, so nice, and the food is really good. I haven't stayed in the rooms since I live 20 minutes away. It's a nice place for my daughter and other kids, too. I've been there seven times for the old castle, but each time we got stuck at the restaurant. We'll have to go again!

The nights were very quiet, and the location has a beautiful panorama. We really enjoyed staying at your gasthaus. The staff were friendly and the food was good. We'd certainly like to come back someday.

We had a really enjoyable lunch today, and there's plenty of free parking. Castle Küssaburg is within walking distance of the restaurant. Inside, the dining room feels cozy and romantic, and the service was warm, professional, and just right. For the food served, the menu prices feel like a good deal. Highly recommended.
