Hüttenhof Garni

The room and bedding were quite dirty, and the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The value for money was completely unacceptable. There were signs at the entrance telling guests to take off dirty shoes downstairs, which felt cheeky and made no sense given how filthy the place was. The hotel was also unmanned, so we couldn’t have the breakfast we’d paid for. One night was enough, and it certainly wasn’t worth €79. There are definitely better places to stay. Not recommended!

Breakfast was decent and enough. My room looked out onto a busy main road and a heavily trafficked double-track railway line. It wasn’t a non-smoking room and smelled unpleasantly of stale smoke. The bathroom door was hard to open, and I found the bed too soft.

The Wi-Fi was a little weak, and YouTube videos only loaded at 360-480p at most. Still, from my experience at other hotels in this price range, the living conditions here were genuinely pleasant, which is why I gave it 5 stars. It’s a truly wonderful hotel! 🤗 The furniture is a bit dated but nice. In the double room there’s a wardrobe, a table, two chairs, and two bedside tables, plus a TV. The toilet and shower are in a separate room, and you can adjust the radiator temperature. Breakfast was delicious too 😊 👍

The hotel is right beside a busy road, so a restful night's sleep is out of the question. The whole place has a disgusting smell, mainly of cigarette smoke, dogs, and cheap vinegar cleaner. The TV only has 10 channels, and the remote is broken with whole buttons missing. The breakfast is very meagre, with expired butter. They make some effort to be friendly, but that’s about the only positive thing to say. The hotel is absolutely not recommended.
