Dogs are allowed, and the hotel is near lots of wineries and hiking trails. Breakfast was superb, served in little jars with more than 10 varieties each day, and there was always something new to try.

The owners were so welcoming, walking us to the door and wishing us a great rest of our trip. We arrived late, at 1 am, and they answered our call promptly to make sure we could get in safely. Breakfast was AWESOME and unique, with lots of different small plates and custom meals. It was a beautiful bed and breakfast that exceeded our expectations. We'll come back when we visit Germany!

Great spot for hiking or cycling through the vineyards. The rooms are well equipped, breakfast was lovely, and the staff were friendly. They were also welcoming to English speakers.

The breakfast at Landhotel Kallstadt was a real highlight, with fresh, varied food served in small portions and plenty to eat. The staff were always friendly and glad to handle special requests. We had a wonderful stay there in September 2025. Booking directly through the hotel website was easy, confirmed quickly, and didn’t require a deposit. They accepted card payment, which we appreciated. The hotel itself is lovingly run and sits on a quiet side street right in the center of Kallstadt. There’s ample free parking at the hotel and nearby, and we could safely store and charge our bicycles in an adjacent building. Kallstadt is a great base for exploring the Palatinate and enjoying its way of life, with lots of good restaurants and wine taverns for evenings out. If we’re in the area again, we’d happily stay here and recommend it.
