Hotel Rheingraf

We only stayed briefly, but I loved it and highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant. Our luggage had already been brought to the room when we arrived. The room was new and modern, with an awesome shower. Dinner was very good, and the waiter took time to explain the menu in English.

Dinner was a real treat. The waiter was professional and kind, and carefully explained all the options in excellent English for my gluten-free eating husband. He had fresh white Rhine Valley asparagus with salmon and potatoes, and said the hollandaise was the best he’d ever tasted. I had a scrumptious salmon and shrimp flatbread. In the morning, breakfast was generous, with a big thermos or pot of coffee right on the table. We were greeted by a woman who had already carried our luggage up to our first-floor room, and mine was heavy! I only gave the room four stars because the bathroom and shower are tiny. It didn’t bother us, but it might bother someone else.

The rooms are small, but really comfortable, and I liked how friendly the staff were. There’s a good breakfast buffet for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike 😊

Such a welcoming team, and an excellent hotel.
