Euro - Hotel

I was pleased with my stay, especially the friendly service. Come in with a friendly attitude and people treat you the same way, everywhere. My room was clean from top to bottom, and suited me well as a solo traveller for one night. It had a double bed with two blankets and two pillows, as shown on my booking. The carpet felt nice underfoot. There was satellite TV, a curtained window, a small desk, a wardrobe, and a bathroom. The heater and ventilation weren't adjustable, but I didn't feel cold in warm sleepwear, and the blanket was enough to sleep comfortably. The bathroom had what I needed: towels, a shower, mirror, sink, toilet, and hairdryer. Reception was open for check-in until 9:00 PM. I arrived after 7:00 PM. After 9:00 PM, check-in is at the nearest gas station, though I'm not sure whether it handles that too. Breakfast wasn't included in my booking. I liked it enough to pay for it, even though it cost more than the initial online price, €8 became €10. It started from 7:00 PM. The buffet that day had croissants, cereal, fruit cocktail, bread, sliced ham and cheese, plus still and sparkling water, orange juice, milk and chocolate milk, and several kinds of coffee. Leave some for everyone 😊

The receptionist was lovely, and the coffee was really nice. But breakfast had a poor selection, the bed was rock hard, and the shower only sprayed from about six holes. The water kept switching hot and cold, so it wasn't good enough to shower in at all.

The rooms were neat and clean, and the rate was moderate. Breakfast was good too. Euro Hotel is a good place to stay around Ettenheim and the Europa Park area.

A handy place to stop after a long drive, since there's a gas station and Burger King right across the street. You can grab a meal and ice cream before heading into the hotel. The room was clean and cozy, the bed was okay, and Europapark is only about a 10-minute drive away.
