The beach is lovely, and you can walk along it for miles. Getting there means passing a lot of construction sites, though. The resort is large and still partly being built, with very little greenery so far. There’s an EDEKA and a couple of small shops, but no restaurants yet. The apartment itself is beautiful, nicely furnished, quiet, and has a wonderful open view. It’s easily worth five stars on its own. The surrounding resort feels new and a bit impersonal, and it’ll take time for the greenery to grow. That was just an observation, not a complaint. It’s a luxurious holiday spot where you’re quite close to other guests, so you’ll feel at home if that suits you. This was our first stay here.

If you fancy a town stroll, Eckernförde and Schleswig are nearby and easy to reach by e-bike. Kiel and Flensburg are about an hour away by car. It’s a lovely area for a holiday.

The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, plus a lovely Baltic Sea view. There’s bike storage and a parking space right outside the building.
