The staff were really friendly, and there’s a beautiful platform overlooking the Schlei and the city of Kappeln. The room smelled a little, but otherwise it’s a nice youth hostel.

The Schlei fjord is right in view, and the town is just ten minutes away. We had a lovely weekend here with several families. There were all sorts of rooms for adults and kids, with space for playing, reading, table tennis, and more. Our room was roomy enough for us and our dog, and the food was delicious. We'd happily come back.
