Hotel Dünenschloss

We had a lovely short break here last weekend in October, and thanks to the team. We’re two holidaymakers from Karlshagen. Our room was cozy, clean, and spacious, with a balcony. Breakfast was plentiful and the eggs were cooked just right.

The breakfast buffet was generous and promptly restocked, and the room was spacious and clean. I had five wonderful days at Hotel Dünenschloss Karlshagen, a small, cozy hotel run by two incredibly friendly ladies. I’d happily book at the Dünenschloss again. If I could give more stars, both the ladies and the hotel would get them.

The location is excellent, and I’d say the price is fair. Breakfast is tasty and very good, with a decent range, and the staff work hard to keep everything topped up. The rooms aren’t especially modern in style, but they’re perfectly adequate, and the balcony is a good size. My only problems were the soft, sagging mattress, which meant I hardly slept well, and the usual lack of bathroom hooks, even though there’s plenty of space. We’d definitely stay here again. I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could.

Our balcony apartment was bright and spacious, with very comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was excellent, including a homemade treat each day, and the beach is only a three-minute walk away. We had a wonderful holiday at the Dünenschloss in Karlshagen, and everything lived up to our expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
