The location is unbeatable, and the woman at reception made us feel welcome straight away. It's otherwise a really lovely, well-equipped place to stay, and without children it would be almost perfect. But the kids' furniture needs attention: a screw sticks out of the table, and the highchair is nearly falling apart with loose screws. Some appliances are worn too. The dishwasher's broken wheels make the baskets slide out, leaving you holding them. Bedrooms have curtains but no blinds, so they're bright as day and naps are impossible. Maybe that's a first-world problem, but the lack of blinds also means the upstairs heats up fast. In one day, downstairs went from 21 to 25 degrees Celsius. There's no air conditioning. The beds were another problem. The mattresses felt like torture to us, and everyone woke up exhausted, perhaps because they're worn out. The pillows and blankets were stiff as boards, no chance of getting cozy. If you can live with all that, you could still have a fantastic holiday here.
