Ambassador

The breakfast had loads of options, and the room was great, with a bathtub. We got good value for the price, parking was convenient, and most of the staff were friendly. The person who checked us in felt cold and seemed unhappy in her job. We also only realized later that the parking garage cost extra.

I liked the quiet room and street, the clean hotel, and the shutters and curtains that made it completely dark. From my fourth-floor room there was also a small, pleasant balcony. The buffet breakfast was great, the staff were friendly, the 5G Wi-Fi was very fast, and Europaplatz is about five minutes away. It’s an older but well-kept place with good value for a budget stay. The single bed’s pillow was too soft and left me with a sore neck, and the shower cubicle felt tiny for a taller person.

Thank you to the staff at Hotel Ambassador. The room was clean, breakfast was great, and having parking in the center of Karlsruhe was handy. For this price, the service was hard to beat, and I had an excellent stay.

The hotel is handy for the shopping street, though there are a few pubs nearby. The interior feels dated and sound carries through the rooms, but they do provide earplugs. Standard rooms seemed fairly priced. A triple room felt expensive for the facilities.
