Leonardo Hotel Karlsruhe

The people at Leonardo Hotel Karlsruhe made the stay special. The staff had a friendly, positive energy and were genuinely welcoming and ready to help. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Karlsruhe. Breakfast was thoughtfully arranged, with fresh options and a good variety in a calm setting. The location is peaceful but still close to the city center and lovely parks. My room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, which worked well for resting and working. The hotel mixes modern touches with a cozy, relaxed feel. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming.

Breakfast was worth the 17€, with so many choices, and there was Gluwein at reception. The room was quiet and comfortable, with modern decor. They left complimentary bottled water, and the coffee maker was easy to use, with great coffee. The hotel is an easy walk from the train station and close enough to walk into the city center. We were there to visit family, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke English. Thank you, hotel Leonardo!

Breakfast was reasonable, though there’s no chef’s station to make omelets on site. The hotel is near the city center, and its friends bar is usually open until midnight. The rooms have older furniture, but it’s in good condition and well maintained. The shower is standard and there’s a hairdryer. If repetitive sounds bother you, the noise from the heating system may be hard to ignore.

The hotel is close to the town center, and the food and rooms were good. The heating system was poor, though, and the elevators are too slow and too small, with one always out of order. It’s not suited to big groups, and the staff could do better. I was disappointed to find a mouse in the bar/restaurant.
