The whole place feels like an old antiques museum, but with a really good designer’s touch. The rooms are old, with old windows, doors and bathrooms, and they’re decorated to match, so staying in one feels like being in an antique room. It was amazing, though this kind of place may or may not suit what you want. Have a look at the photos. The motel is spread across several buildings in two areas that aren’t very far apart. My room was on the second floor, up a narrow iron staircase. The bed was big and unusual, like everything else there, but very comfortable. The hosts were kind and spoke English well.

I was working at a local museum last October and spent four nights here. It was lovely and comfortable, and the owners were very friendly. I’d like to stay again.

It feels like staying with friends or family at this arty oasis in Kassel. Have a look through the different rooms before choosing. The 50's room especially feels like sleeping in a museum, with beautiful objects and little details. Elfie & Pitzie are great hosts, danke! Raoul aus Nijmegen

It’s one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in. Just know it isn’t a typical hotel, so be ready to see what your room is like ;)
