For a quick business stay of 1-2 days, this is still a decent option. The small fitness room and sauna are nice extras, and it’s right by the main train station in a very central spot. But it feels well past its best and doesn’t currently live up to a four-star standard. The furniture is extremely old, the carpet had lots of stains, and even the old toilet brush seemed like something that could be replaced cheaply. It was extremely cold at night despite setting the AC to its highest heat setting.

The rooms are quiet, clean, and spacious enough, and the workers are polite. Just remember to put the label on the door if you want the room cleaned, otherwise they only clean it then. Breakfast could use more variety, especially sweet options. There’s no toaster for the bread, and no decaffeinato coffe.

The price was great for what you get, and the location is convenient. The amenities were better than I expected at that price. I’ll definitely come back.

Parking is plentiful and the location is great. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything worked, but the hotel and room felt old and outdated. Bathroom tiles made noises when I stepped on them, the mattress was really hard, and the TV only had loads of the same German channels with no way to cast a movie.

The service could be much better, especially with breakfast to go. I’ve stayed here a few times and always asked for a packed breakfast, but it was never ready. I’d wait at reception in the morning for a few minutes just to get two lousy sandwiches. It was embarrassing. The single beds are super narrow, and while the windows are well insulated, the doors aren’t and the walls are thin, so you hear a lot of noise. The gym is a joke. This definitely isn’t a 4* place. I’ve been to better 3* hotels.
