The apartment worked well for a short stay with up to four people. It had one bedroom, a bunk bed, and a pull-out chair in the living room, and was well equipped. We could walk to bars and restaurants, and parking in the garage cost 10 Euros for 24 hours. Online check-in was easy. There were a few drawbacks: the WiFi wouldn't work even with the password, the TV had only one channel, and there was no AC. There also wasn't enough water for even one person to shower.
Kassel is a very nice place to stay. The lack of AC was the one thing that bothered us. If they added it to the rooms, this would be the most perfect place to stay.
I've stayed in many cities, but rarely come across concierge service this good. The concierge here was kind and responsible, and I was really grateful and satisfied. I'm sorry I forgot to ask for their name.
Very clean and quiet, right by the main train station.
