Hotel Schillerquartier

Check-in was flexible, the price was good, and the staff were friendly. The room is simple but really cosy and comfortable. There are a few free parking spaces, so arrive on time; I got the last one ;)

The shared kitchen was well maintained, which was a nice extra. You can make a big tea there in the morning or just say hello to your temporary neighbours in the evening. I was initially a little worried about safety because of the price category and shared bathroom. But when I arrived, I got my own princess tower with just one or two other rooms, and the whole place stayed quiet all night. I remembered the bathroom was meant to be shared, but in my case only the toilet was shared. The shower and sink were part of my room. For a good espresso nearby, try Element Boulders. You can buy coffee or a snack there without paying an entry fee. It's cosy, the coffee is great, and the wi-fi is stable.

For a work trip, this is a straightforward place to stay the night. There’s parking in the hotel yard, and a separate kitchen with a kettle and coffee machine.

The guest kitchen is well equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable, with a good breakfast too. It’s a basic hotel that delivers what you’d expect. We’ll definitely be back.
