We got our money back right away. We’d booked one double bed but were given two separate beds. The bathroom drain was clogged, and there weren’t even slippers for after a shower. There was no fridge, kettle, or bottle of drinking water, and no telephone either. Be aware, this isn’t a real hotel!

Breakfast was excellent, and the lobby bar and lounge with its pool table were nice. The train station is right in front, so the location is great. The rooms are a bit dated and don’t have irons. I asked for one three times, but the front desk kept hanging up without confirming anything. Then, as I was leaving, I found an iron in the hallway outside my door. Very puzzling.

We felt welcome as a family, and it’s a great place with kids. The rooms are comfortable, and being near the station makes getting around easy. I liked the relaxed lounge and that they still take cash, unlike those annoying cashless hotels. A good base for exploring Kassel!

Too many emails! The colorful design isn’t really to my taste, and the shower needs some work, with a leaky tube and rust in the bath tub.

The room was good overall, with a large bed, and the hotel’s location is excellent. I was disappointed by the amenities, though, especially the lack of a mini fridge compared with other hotels in this price range. I’d requested a free baby bed when booking, but it wasn’t there when we arrived, and I didn’t have time to discuss it further. I also had to ask staff three times before they finally brought a kettle to the room.
