The complex has dozens of apartments, but it was relatively quiet, and the beach is close enough to earn an extra star. Inside, the bedroom is modern, the living room is large and the kitchen is well equipped. The rest feels dated, though, and the photos are quite flattering. The bathroom is especially bad: cramped, windowless, poorly ventilated, with a shower that looks straight out of the 70s. I wouldn’t book here again.

It’s not a 1, more like a 3, but the musty smell was really annoying. The first impression wasn’t inviting, and there were several problems: a damp cabinet under the sink, cobwebs, ant traps, a missing shower-head rod and a leaking toilet bowl.

Deichhof 3a wasn’t as pictured. The place itself is nice, but the kitchen is a disgrace, the bathroom has no window and only a fan, and everything feels very antiquated. The terrace needs some TLC too. I won’t book here again.

Everything we needed was there, and the place was impeccably maintained. Simply beautiful. Excellent.

A great apartment, just 20 meters from the beach. Definitely worth a holiday, and highly recommended.
