Haus Ruh di ut Wohnung LEE

The quiet location was a plus, with the beach about 400 m away on foot, and free parking right beside the house. There’s a very large balcony, around 20 sq m, overlooking a lovely, well-kept garden. Most of the furnishings are in good shape, apart from the bedroom bed. Most mattresses are still good, and the wallpaper, curtains, and decor are stylish. The pots, pans, and other kitchen gear are good quality, although the oven hadn’t been cleaned. There were some frustrating issues, though. The chrome was peeling off the shower handle and hose, leaving nasty little splinters. We weren’t allowed to put fly screens on the bedroom windows because of concern about adhesive residue on the inside of the frames, even though it wouldn’t be visible and we would have removed any residue when leaving. Some frames are clearly not new, either. Maybe other guests don’t mind spiders, mosquitoes, and wasps in the house, but with real arachnophobia, it stops being fun. On the day we arrived alone, we found eight black house spiders in the apartment. The next day, we found them in the bed as well. We wanted to sleep with the window open, but couldn’t. Every evening we also had to go on a full mosquito hunt before bed. We wanted to give the place a good clean, but the only thing we could find was a broom in the bedroom closet, which wasn’t useful for cleaning. A broom doesn’t belong in a closet, especially one already crowded with bedding, and there wasn’t much room for the clothes you bring for a 14-day stay. We also wanted to wipe the apartment down, but again, all we found was that broom. These things really cut into our chance to relax 👎🏻.
