Klima Hotel Europarc

The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the food was excellent, though the portions were huge. Everyone at the hotel and restaurant gave us a warm, friendly welcome. It's also only ten minutes from where I need to be, so I can see myself stopping here regularly. This was my first visit, but it won't be my last.

I've been staying at Hotel Europarc for 17 years now, and I'm glad to have shared that history with the hotel and its people. I still meet some of the same faces I did back then, which says a lot about the continuity and stability here. I originally looked for a place with easy highway access, roughly halfway between destinations, so I could avoid bigger cities and typical city hotels on long drives. That's how I found it, and I've never regretted the choice. The welcoming people made me feel comfortable straight away. The cozy rooms felt like home and made it easy to relax, and the excellent breakfast set me up well the next morning. I'd compare the quality to my German car: rock solid and dependable, and I wish I could keep it for the rest of my life. Five stars from me!

Breakfast was good, and I can't complain about the bed, the helpful staff, or the hot water. But the hotel is in an industrial neighborhood on Siemens street, in a building that I assume was once a factory. The conversion doesn't work very well, and the star rating seems questionable. It took about half an hour to check in, and my room was in a different industrial-looking building. The refurbishment looked low budget, and the window faced another industrial building and parked trucks. The bathroom floor was ice cold. The overall experience fell short of what I expected, and the star rating is misleading.

The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the location and staff were nice. Cleanliness was acceptable, though not perfect. Breakfast was worth the price.
