B&B Hotel Kiel-Holstenbrücke

The place was nice and clean, and the location was great. The parking is shown in the picture, but finding a spot right in front of the hostel can be hard. It also costs money, except on Sundays.

The staff were polite, and the hotel was clean and up to a good standard. Breakfast was good too. There was quite a bit of noise from the courtyard at the back, though, and I noticed a few signs that the cleaning could have been better, including something spilled beside the bed.

The hotel was really clean and well organized, and the breakfast and service were great. I was there for two work days on my own, and ended up feeling quite safe. At first, though, room 202 unsettled me a little because stairs led right up to its two windows. I could hear the dumpster and people out back, but it wasn’t enough to keep me from sleeping.

The location was the best part, near the main attractions but on a relatively calm street. Inside the room, though, there was dust all over, especially behind the TV, and on the carpet. The curtains didn’t block the light outside, and construction directly in front of the hotel was noisy enough that the windows didn’t shut it out. At 10 in the morning, with checkout not until 12, the housekeeper knocked to ask if he could start cleaning. The room itself was ok.
