I stayed for a week at a great daily price. The rooms were cozy and clean, breakfast was a fine self-serve spread each morning, and there was coffee all day. The staff were nice and helpful. Kiel Hbf is a 10-minute stroll away, with lots of shops, pharmacies and even a mall within walking distance. Shops for sundries and some eateries are directly behind the hotel, and everything you could need is within a 3-minute walk. For delicious coffee and lunch, try Mum & Dad on the same block. Turn left out of the hotel and walk to the corner. The menu and staff are the best in the area. Tell Markus I sent you!

The location is really central, and the hotel is okay for a few days if that’s what you need. I stayed two days. The room was small and not that good, but it was okay for that short stay. Breakfast was okay too, nothing special. There are no hair dryers in the rooms, so you have to borrow one at reception, which is weird.

It’s simple and fair, not grand, and you get what you pay for :). The hotel has been improved and modernized compared with older reviews. There’s no elevator, the rooms are small, and there’s no AC. Staff are friendly, and breakfast is a simple buffet.

The rooms are small, but they suffice. The location is good, about a 10-minute walk from the central station. We had to check in at another hotel nearby.

When we arrived on May 24th at 1:00 P.M., the receptionist was very nasty and rude. There was no guest restroom at reception, only one for employees and the ones in the rooms.
