The location took a little planning because I relied on cabs, and pickups could take up to 10 minutes. It was too cold to consider public transport given the walk involved. Still, this was a very positive stay: the hotel is great for families, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The pool and sauna made for a pleasant late afternoon, and the staff were friendly and proactive. Breakfast was a highlight, with a generous spread and good fish options.

The sea view was beautiful, and Kiel center was easy to reach. I stayed for a business trip and found everything flawless: modern, clean, quiet rooms, fast Wi-Fi, and professional, well-equipped conference facilities. I'd recommend the hotel for work or leisure.

You can tell the hotel is over 50 years old, and the room could have been a little cleaner. Normally I'd take off a star for that, but considering what you get for the price, I have to give it 5 stars. The rooms are really nice, service excellent, breakfast really good, and there's a sauna, swimming pool, and awesome view.

A great hotel in a great location, 200 meters from the Fjord Rover, with large rooms and great balconies. It's outdated and needs a makeover, but still just about works. Parking is a challenge in high season. Housekeeping was all over the place: some days nobody came even though there were no do not disturb signs on the door, and towels and coffee weren't replenished at times. On other days, everything was done 110%.

We only stayed one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very professional and attentive, and thanks especially to the reception team for patiently helping us with our luggage after checkout, even with four teenagers in tow. Our room was neat and clean, with a good shower and comfortable beds. Breakfast had a wide choice of sweet and savory treats, and the kids loved the Nutella machine 😂.
