Moin, Moin & Ahoi!

We stayed at the beginning of September 2025, and the first impression made it clear how lovingly decorated the place is. It's a newly renovated, well-maintained vacation apartment with almost everything thought of. There's barely a light switch: motion sensors turn on a hallway light strip or lights by the sockets, which was very helpful when finding the bathroom at night. The kitchen is VERY well equipped, and the kettle that keeps water at drinking temperature is perfect for coffee drinkers. The hosts are lovely and helpful. Just one tiny thing, a fly screen would be nice with the windows open. The North German laws are the first thing you're confronted with. P.S. "Moin" is always the right word, but from me, "Glück Auf" from the Erzgebirge.

We spent 12 days here and felt at home from the start. It's a small, cozy apartment, very clean and furnished to a high standard, with lovely attention to detail. Nothing was missing. The family even lent us their coffee grinder right away for our own beans. The owners are very friendly, and we had several fun, interesting conversations with them. We enjoyed the terrace, with its seating and loungers, and there was even a beach chair for guests in the big garden. It's in a very quiet Kiel suburb, while the center and harbor are easy to reach by car. We'd love to come back.

The owners were especially warm and accommodating, and the quiet, noise-free setting made the apartment relaxing. It was also a handy base for exploring, close to the train station with parking available. The modern kitchen features made a difference, particularly the temperature-control kettle, digital oven with color display, and Siemens ceramic cooktop. There was a comfortable office and a cozy bedroom bed, too. I had a pleasant stay and would love to return.

We had a lovely five days in this vacation apartment, and the sheltered terrace and garden were great to have, with parking available. It's a lovely quiet location. The city center is about a 20-30 minute drive, and a bakery is 5-10 minutes away by car, so things are easy to get to. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. We traveled with our almost 8-month-old baby, and the landlord had thought of everything for an overnight stay: a height-adjustable crib, highchair, changing mat, and corner protectors. We were delighted, since that kind of service isn't always a given. Communication was friendly, and it was clear that the landlord cared about guests' wellbeing. We felt very comfortable, had a great time, and would book again and recommend it.
