Hotel Restaurant Esbach Hof

The restaurant was a highlight for me. It had a nice range of local dishes, and everything I tried was expertly prepared with outstanding flavors. The staff knew the menu well and made helpful suggestions. Esbach Hof is also well placed for exploring Kitzingen and the surrounding area, with the river and local vineyards nearby. I found the room spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view. It was a great place to relax after seeing the town. From arrival, the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere made me feel at home, and check-in was easy. I also liked the decor, which brought together traditional German touches and modern comfort. My stay at Hotel-Restaurant Esbach Hof exceeded my expectations, and I'd love to return.

The rooms are very nice and spacious, and the restaurant is attractively decorated with good food. Breakfast was good too, though there was no bacon. The Wi-Fi speeds were acceptable, but its range was poor.

Their sirloin steak with pepper sauce, cooked rare, is my favorite. Esbachhof is known for its duck too, and the menu includes Franconian and seasonal dishes. Most of the wines are regional, with some from elsewhere in Southern Europe. Each year between the end of Fasching (Carnival) and the start of Easter, they serve a delicious Fastenbier (fasting beer).

We had the "Töpfle" and Weinerschnitzel, and both were excellent. The hosts were very friendly, the rooms cozy, and the garden restaurant was wonderful.
