The sunset and the trains passing in the distance made for a really relaxing end to the day. It’s about a mile’s walk from Klanxbull itself, but I was very impressed with the place. The atmosphere was easygoing and there was plenty of choice on the menu. I had a superb, thick goulash soup, then a Klanxbuller Schnitzel with a Weizen beer, all for €21.

My bicycle was parked perfectly, and I really appreciated having breakfast served at the table. I was looking for a base for a trip to the Nolde Museum, and this worked out perfectly. The room was lovely, the food was great, and the welcome was super friendly. The service was excellent too. It really couldn't have been better!

The restaurant and bar made a good impression, and breakfast was very good and plentiful. We were given a warm welcome when we arrived.
