From the moment I arrived at Gastwirtschaft & Hotel Hallescher Anger, the warm welcome made a great impression. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. My room was spotless, well equipped, and thoughtfully prepared for a relaxing visit. The gastwirtschaft was fantastic too: delicious food, a good selection of local specialties, and impeccable service. Whether you’re looking for a comfortable hotel or a traditional meal, I’d recommend Gastwirtschaft & Hotel Hallescher Anger. I can’t wait to visit again.

We only found this restaurant on our last day, unfortunately. It’s right by the Saale, and the terrace or beer garden must be lovely in summer. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We’d happily go back, especially for the fantastic asparagus burger. Probably the best burger ever. A 100% recommendation.

We saw the Leipzig Comedy Theatre perform “Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella” at the hotel. It was an entertaining, enjoyable show and well worth recommending. The four-course dinner and excellent table service were included too. Keep it up!
