The apartment at the bottom of the house was beautiful and had everything we could need. We loved the view from the private terrace, and the beds were very comfortable. We asked for extra pillows since German pillows tend to be very soft! Beatrix was a lovely, accommodating hostess. She shared lots of information about the area and gave us free bus and train tickets for the routes between Koblenz and Cochem, though unfortunately we didn’t get to use them. We went to the wine festivals in Alken and Dieblich, which were well worth it. Kobern gondorf is a lovely town, with a small historic market square and bars and restaurants. We also enjoyed the nearby villages and found an outdoor pool at Willingen that was well worth the trip. It’s a great base for exploring the area, and Beatrix was so helpful. From the Moselle River to the castle ruins, the view was beautiful. The town is within walking distance, and the hiking trail is nearby too. Breakfast had everything we wanted, and Mrs. Halter shared some helpful ideas for things to do. We had a wonderful stay at Landhaus Julia. The communication beforehand was very friendly, and we were warmly welcomed when we arrived. We especially liked our room. The Halter family has decorated the rooms, breakfast area, and outdoor space with lovely attention to detail.

Parking right in front of the house was convenient, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our hostess was super friendly and always attentive to our comfort, whether at the guesthouse or helping us choose from the many places to visit in the region. The guesthouse is wonderful, lovingly furnished, very clean, and well equipped. We’re more than satisfied.

We felt right at home and would definitely come back. Ms. Halter is friendly and dedicated, and always has a useful tip for whatever you ask. Our room was spotless and furnished with lovely attention to detail, and we didn’t lack a thing. The mattresses were excellent, and breakfast had everything we could want.

We’ve hardly ever stayed somewhere better. The apartment was superb, breakfast generous, and the location fantastic. The host family were so friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The four stars are well deserved. Here, guests really are treated like royalty. We wholeheartedly recommend it.
