The riverside setting and view are lovely, and it’s handy if you’re camping next door. The food was okay, though the portions were tiny. Service was the real problem: it took 15 minutes just to get a menu, and the waitstaff seemed to avoid eye contact instead of helping. Very disorganized and painfully slow.

The people looking after the facilities were really friendly, and breakfast was delicious with a lovely view near the Elbe. We stayed in one of the newly built large family tents, which can sleep up to six and has standard beds plus a proper bathroom. It was quite comfortable, though the bedding felt a bit small. Can recommend!

There’s a playground right beside the restaurant, and you can sit on the shady, comfortable terrace and look toward Lilienstein. The spot by the river and beach is beautiful. Service was quick and friendly, though the food and drinks felt ordinary for the fairly high prices.

I was camping nearby and came here just to eat. The riverside spot has plenty of shade and lovely views, and the service was friendly and quick. I had the special schnitzel with Erdinger on tap, and it was excellent. The whole bill came to €17.50. Best meal of my trip so far.

The waitress helped us order even though there wasn’t an English menu, and we didn’t have to wait long. The food was delicious and the prices quite reasonable. Highly recommended!
