Das Hotel Krone

The proprietor takes time to give each guest personal attention, and the service from him and his staff is excellent. A great hotel in Koenigswinter. Highly recommended!

The restaurant team were super friendly and helpful, and the vegan food was full of flavor. Everything served there is plant-based, and almost all of it is made from scratch. I only had breakfast, but it was filling, and the canapes after the wedding were really delicious too. The hotel has a shabby chic feel and is kept very clean and to a high standard. My room was clean and comfortable, with a good-sized, spotless bathroom, and I slept well. We were in town for a wedding held at the hotel, and I stayed two nights. I arrived after check-in had closed, but after we called ahead, staff left the key in a PIN-coded lockbox outside the front door, so arrival was easy. The hotel is right in the lively town center, close to restaurants, and I liked hearing the street life below with the window open. Great location, good food, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I didn't stay there myself, since I booked the hotel for my parents, but they loved the rooms, the location, the breakfast, and the place overall. My thanks especially to Herrn Rosenbaum, who went out of his way to make sure they had a wonderful stay. That level of customer service is rare in Germany.

We were nearby for a wedding and chose Hotel Krone from the suggestions. From the moment we drove up, the staff were as helpful and polite as could be. It worked perfectly as a base for exploring, and I really enjoyed the breakfasts. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I'd love to come back, walk along the river, and stay longer than a weekend.
