The place might work for a few days, but after three weeks in Konz, I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay. There’s no cleaning service, and we had to ask for a vacuum and do the cleaning ourselves. Linen and towels were changed weekly at best, which was especially hard during the hot spell. Supplies like soap and toilet paper were apparently only included at the start, though we were given a small amount extra. If that’s the arrangement, it should be made clear in the listing. There are two roomy bedrooms on different floors and lots of useful household items. But the upstairs room is in the attic, and during the first very hot week it was impossible to stay in. There are no window screens, so bugs come in when you open the windows. Even once temperatures settled at 23-25°C, the small window left the room stuffy and made it hard to sleep. The Wi-Fi was very weak, kept dropping, and showed a “not secure” warning.

The apartment turned out to be much nicer than we expected when we arrived that evening. We were greeted warmly, and inside there were two big rooms across two floors, decorated with real care. The kitchen also had modern equipment for cooking and baking. It’s peaceful there, around 10 km from Trier, and an easy, quick drive into town. We had a lovely stay and would happily come back. Highly recommend it.

We stayed in this lovely apartment with my father. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed, and the shower was large and modern. We could keep our electric bikes in the garage and charge them there, with free parking right outside. The price felt fair for what we got.

My favorite part was having Riesling out on the balcony. Germany really is beautiful, and there’s no need to go abroad when Trier, Saarburg, Koblenz, Luxembourg, and Metz are all easy to reach.

We’ve stayed here twice now and will definitely come for a third visit. The apartment is lovely, very clean, and nicely furnished. It’s also well placed for seeing the surrounding area, with Luxembourg close by.
