My kids were told to keep quiet in the pool just for laughing and playing. The place felt more like a hush-and-be-quiet retreat for seniors than somewhere for families. The food was only so-so, and compared with other hotels, it absolutely wasn’t worth the money.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a great spread and very good value. The restaurant, which is in a separate location, was okay, though its prices were above average. The area around the hotel is quiet, with its own golf course, and a small pond and larger lake nearby, but there were lots of mosquitoes. I spent two nights there in August. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Still, the air vent in the open walk-in closet was noisy. A strange bathroom smell got worse with the door shut, so I had to leave it open. There was no A/C, which meant I needed to keep the balcony door open overnight to manage the temperature. Reception staff were friendly, but I had to ask them for slippers. The sauna area was smaller than I expected. Pool guests walked through the quiet rest area, so it wasn’t very relaxing. It was a nice getaway overall, but I wouldn’t return for another vacation.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything felt bright, cheerful, and clean, which I liked. Breakfast tasted good and had plenty of choices, so everyone could find something. There was fish, though I’d have loved salmon too. That’s a minor complaint. I was glad to find a gym, but the website didn’t mention the €6 daily charge. The hotel handled it kindly: since I wasn’t using it all day, they let me go in for free on a second day. They also said it was fine to leave after an hour on the exercise bike once I asked. I really appreciated that gesture. Still, for the price, I think the gym could be a little bigger, and a water fountain would help. Parking costs €8 a day, although the car was outside without shade or cover, so I’m not sure what the charge was for. It would also be nice to have a waste bin on the breakfast table. Breakfast starts at 7 am, and I wish the outdoor tables and chairs had been ready then, since they were being set up while we were already eating. I would have given 4.5 stars if I knew how. These are only small things, and I had a lovely stay. I’d recommend the hotel and am thankful for the stay.

A quiet hotel with a relaxing spa, good breakfast, and nice evening meals at the restaurant. The staff were lovely and helpful. The golf course is right next door and welcomes beginners as well as experienced players. It’s easy to get to nearby towns and seaside resorts, and the place is great for a bit of rest.
