I spent a week here doing therapeutic fasting, and I'm so pleased with how smoothly it went. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly, and I picked up some really practical tips. The quiet I needed after a hectic work life was exactly what I found at the fasting retreat at Hotel Bergsinn. The fasting guides are committed and attentive to each participant's needs, and they share plenty of useful information about healthy living. I enjoyed the hikes around beautiful Obercunnersdorf, and the gymnastic exercises gave me lots of ideas. There was still plenty of free time, and the hotel's large garden was a lovely place to relax. The Buchinger broth was delicious, and being able to take soups home helped a lot during the refeeding days. I felt completely at ease and would be happy to return. Annett

The surroundings were beautiful, and a week of therapeutic fasting was wonderful. Our guide Andreas has so much experience and made sure we felt well looked after. The price was reasonable too.

I've been to Hotel Bergsinn several times, and I'm always happy to return. The owners are warm people who do a lot to make guests feel comfortable. They're ready with local tips or answers if you want to learn more about fasting outside the courses, and they pay attention to what their guests need. It's right at the top of an idyllic village, in a very quiet spot. Past the big garden are fields and mountains for hiking. The owners and the setting make it a great place to unwind. The only possible disturbance might be pollen 😅, though if pollen is a problem, a nature retreat probably isn't the obvious choice. I've stayed in both the main building and the bungalows. Both have what you need and feel cozy, and everything is spotlessly clean, which matters most to me in a hotel room. The price feels fair, especially compared with the increases I've seen at other hotels in recent years. The value is excellent. I know I sound enthusiastic, but I really am. I look forward to every stay, and the owners deserve all the attention they can get. If you're nearby, stop in!

I usually associate fasting with a different season, but I came in July this year and was glad I did. Stretching out in the roomy garden under the warm sun added a lot to the relaxing stay. The location is wonderfully peaceful, and the friendly, welcoming hosts create the rustic feel you'd expect from an old shooting lodge.
