The restaurant is what I remember most. The food was amazing, especially the excellent beef and deer meat, and they prepare everything in house. Compliments to Mrs.Lucia & Florentina for their formidable service. The rooms were very clean and comfortable too. Zum Forst Hotel sits in a wonderful forest with fresh air and lots of greenery. I strongly recommend it for a Munich vacation or business trip.

A lovely, comfortable, quiet place to rest. The staff are very polite and the restaurant is excellent. There’s a bus stop right in front, and taking the bus plus the S-bahn from Freising gets you to Munich center in 40 minutes.

The countryside setting is beautiful, and the staff are very helpful. It's a friendly, traditional Bavarian hotel and restaurant. I just missed having AC in the rooms. It was very hot.

Good beer 🍻, good food at reasonable prices, and the service is always very good. It's a great overnight stop when driving south to Italy or Croatia from northern Europe.

The shower was a little small and the pillows weren't good. Still, it's a clean, good hotel, the breakfast was good ☺️, and I'd gladly come back.
