There was no background music, and the portions were so small that I’d need to order two or three to feel full. The gyros and fried potatoes also weren't crispy. This place just wasn't for me. I usually give reviews a fair four or five stars, but I can only give this one star.

Five of us ate there, and everyone enjoyed the food. The service was really friendly, and the food was delicious. Prices felt fair for what you get. I'd be happy to come back.

The steak was cooked perfectly medium, and I could taste the rosemary. I’d ordered the weekly special, rump steak with pepper sauce, fries in an extra-small portion, and salad. It was absolutely delicious. Afterward, the owner offered me a limoncello on the house, and we had a pleasant conversation about the restaurant and its history. I was welcomed warmly and the service was excellent. The dining room is beautifully decorated, the atmosphere lovely, and even the restrooms were spotless. Everything made for a wonderful evening. I’ll definitely return if I need to stay overnight with a client. Thank you so much!

The Niederrheinischer Hof makes you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, always smiling, and you can tell hospitality matters here. The atmosphere is great, and the food is fresh, carefully prepared, and seasoned just right. We’ll definitely be back.
