Hotel Rostock West im Kritzmow Park

The location worked well for me, with a short walk into town and easy access to the highway. There are supermarkets and bakeries nearby, plus a tasty Greek restaurant right next door, though it closes on Mondays and Tuesdays. My single room was roomy and clean. Breakfast was buffet style during the weekend I stayed, while on Monday they served whatever you could want at the table. The building dates from the 90s and has no elevator, but the staff kindly offered to help. It’s a good option if you don’t want to stay, or can’t stay, right in HRO. One small suggestion for the owner, if they happen to read this: staff uniforms with the hotel logo, even just T-shirts, might look nicer. I know that would cost extra, and I mean it only as a friendly suggestion. I’ll be back either way 🙃

I’ve stayed here twice and would happily return. The room was quiet and clean, and breakfast was both tasty and generous. Everyone on the service side was attentive and very friendly. It’s a little way out from the city center, though getting around by car is easy. I had a very nice stay both times.

The breakfast staff were really friendly, and there was everything I needed. I also got great tips for swimming from the lovely gentleman at reception, who seemed genuinely interested in his guests. I felt comfortable throughout my stay and was welcomed very warmly.

Breakfast was on the small side, but it had everything we needed. We slept well after a great meal at the Greek restaurant in the same building, which I’d definitely recommend. We’d booked Sunday night into Monday and arrived at 11:00 AM. The owner greeted us warmly and handed over the room key. In the morning, a lovely woman welcomed us just as warmly. We’d gladly recommend the hotel 🤗😊
