Das romantische Landhaus

The rooms were spacious and really nice, and I slept well on the mattresses. We booked without breakfast because we were having it with our aunt and uncle, so I can't say anything about the breakfast there. The price for what you get is good. I'd recommend it.

The breakfast was excellent, and we thought the price was good for what we got. We only stayed one night and nearly turned around when we first saw the grounds, which are badly run down. The inside was a pleasant surprise, though. It's all done in an antique style with a particular charm, but that's the sort of look you either love or hate. The bedding also had way too much laundry detergent or softener on it.

The rooms have a charming feel, and the service was good. Cleanliness could be better in a few spots and corners.

Breakfast had three out of four items more than a month past their expiration date, and the place was dirty. Completely unacceptable. This was our second stay here with the company. The first time was fine, but it's a very dated property that needs a lot of care. New beds and bathrooms are badly needed, and a lot of things look like they've only been patched up here and there. We won't be back.
