Alte Schule Greetsiel

We arrived in December 2024 and found mold on the bedroom and bathroom windows and around the toilet. There was obvious moisture damage in the bedroom, and peeling wallpaper in both the bedroom and toilet, with damage across much of the walls. The apartment felt run-down. We complained, but neither the rental agency nor its partner, Greetsieler Möwe, got back to us. Their response seemed unprofessional, and we can’t recommend the apartment or the agency at all.

We rented an apartment at The Old School in Greetsiel in 2017. It had everything we needed, with nothing missing from the equipment. The building is an old, existing one right in the heart of Greetsiel, so you can walk everywhere.

We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace in the evenings and had a lovely holiday. The apartment is quiet but still very central, and the view from the terrace is nice. It’s bright and clean, with simple IKEA furniture that’s still tasteful. The medium-sized place worked perfectly well for four, and had everything we needed.

Everything you need is close by, including a bakery, several restaurants, a bank, and a supermarket. The building is very central and was a wonderful place to unwind. We’d absolutely recommend the holiday property and renting an apartment here.
