Getting the key from the lockbox at the house was completely hassle-free. Inside, the place was very clean, apart from the windows, which disappointed me. It’s charmingly furnished, the kitchen has everything you could want, the beds were made, and the heating was on. There were toys and a nice room for the children, too. The main downside for us was the synthetic duvets, which made us sweat, and the uncomfortable mattresses. A mattress topper would help. The listing does mention the very steep stairs, but the steps are also really narrow and could be mentioned. Even with the uncomfortable beds, we had a few very pleasant days. 😊
