Even in January, we loved reading by the stove, cooking and chatting in the snug, fully equipped kitchen, and making use of the great pantry. The house is quiet, full of East Frisian history, and thoughtfully furnished by warm hosts. Historic architecture fans can feel at home here without giving up modern comforts. I can only imagine how lovely it must be in summer. Thank you for having us, dear Sswat-Mollwitz family!

We found communication with the Sswat-Mollwitz family seamless, and Ms. Meyer was a great help while we were there. Swanenhuus is a lovingly restored house where old East Frisian character sits alongside modern comforts. The region is a lovely escape from everyday stress, and you can still sense the atmosphere of earlier times in the house. With the wood-burning stove, I imagine it would be wonderful in autumn or winter too. We highly recommend a stay.

The location worked perfectly for us, with everywhere reachable in 10-15 minutes by car or bike. We felt so comfortable in this wonderful vacation home.
