BSW-Ferienwohnungen Kühlungsborn

We were two adults and two children, and felt at home in the holiday apartment right away. It was spotless and superbly equipped. The setting is peaceful, yet only about 1 km from the promenade and the beautiful beach, which worked perfectly for our family. We'd love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

A bakery and supermarket are right nearby, and Kühlungsborn West train station is only a few meters away. Parking is available and easy to access. The apartments are about 900 meters from the Kühlungsborn promenade. I had trouble with my phone network because O2 didn't work. There was no signal on the beach or promenade either, though other providers have better coverage. Inside, the apartment was functional, but the furniture wasn't very comfortable. The curtains had marks that looked like squashed mosquitoes or flies. The bathroom has a bathtub but no shower, which would be more practical. Its partition is small, so you have to be careful when showering. The toilet is rather old and curved inside, so men keep touching the ceramic with their genitals. I found that unpleasant and was always worried about bacteria.

There was plenty of crockery, glassware, and kitchen utensils, and we found the kitchenette adequate for simple meals despite its small size. We didn't miss having a dishwasher, though an oven would have been useful. The bathroom looked a bit dated. In the bedroom, there was a large chest of drawers, a big wardrobe, and good mattresses. Everything was clean.

Cooking was difficult in the very small kitchenette because there wasn't much counter space. I thought locking away all the toys, books, and other things due to Covid was excessive and unnecessary. The apartment itself was comfortably furnished, with good new mattresses, and the location was fairly quiet.
