Holiday Apartment Palais am Park

Our apartment was clean and nicely furnished, with a balcony tucked under the roof. There was nothing we needed that was missing. The roof is well insulated, keeping it fairly cool when temperatures top 30 degrees Celsius and warm in winter. There are stairs only, no elevator. Our cheeky albatross even helped itself to the Mettwurst we’d left on the balcony table. The houses look lovely from outside, and the spacious holiday apartments sit in a quiet spot near the city forest. There’s plenty of room in the courtyard to park cars and bicycles. A 300-meter walk through the cool forest brings you to the beach promenade, putting you pretty much in the center of Kühlungsborn. Head left for the Ferris wheel and west, or right for the pier, shopping mile, and city harbor. Nudist beaches and dog-friendly oases are at both ends, with the Textil Strand beach in the middle, where the sand is lovely and the water clear. Warnemünde is easy to reach by steamer Baltica or the beautiful old train.
