Hotel Ostseestern

We ate very well at the restaurant, and breakfast had plenty of variety and tasted delicious. During our two nights at the Ostseestern we felt at ease. The bathroom looks like it may have been added later and is a bit like one in a caravan, but it was clean and worked fine. We didn't mind that or the stairs upstairs. We also got a very warm welcome outside, and free parking was a real plus.

We left after five nights feeling happy and refreshed, and would gladly recommend Hotel Ostseestern. The team was welcoming and attentive, with special thanks to Maria. Our room was clean, nicely done, and roomy enough for three, with a view of the Baltic Sea. The bathroom is small and takes a little getting used to, though it does the job. The location is fantastic, and breakfast was excellent.

The people here made a big difference. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to questions or requests, and we always felt welcome. The rooms were inviting, clean, and comfortably furnished, with everything well cared for. Hotel Ostseestern made for a relaxing few days by the Baltic Sea, and I can definitely recommend it for its service and warm atmosphere.

The friendly staff and okay breakfast were positives, and the beach and promenade aren't far away. But the sea view listing was very misleading in our case. We booked two rooms: from the ground floor we saw the restaurant umbrellas, and from the second floor it was mostly trees, with the water barely visible if you looked carefully. The rooms are dated, and the whole hotel feels run-down and short of modern standards. It seems like nothing is being invested, and the online photos are heavily edited compared with what you find there. It's frustrating that photos can't be uploaded here.
