The Witt family has everything well in hand at this lovely guesthouse, and every wish is taken care of. Breakfast was hearty, prepared with care, and had everything we could want. In the evening, you could have a delicious meal at the quaint Gaststätte zur Reuse. Well worth a visit.

Just 50 meters across the road and you're on the promenade and beach. The place is a cozy old building, and the owner and staff are super friendly. Everything was clean, the bathrooms renovated, and breakfast generous. The only drawback was the soggy breakfast rolls, but that isn't enough to lose a point.

We were there over Easter, and I don't really understand all the glowing reviews. An old building can still be clean, and the rooms could still be comfortable. For €8 per person, breakfast was really just bread and sausage. People have different expectations, of course. We found the stay okay, but we definitely won't come back.

For €79 a night for a single room with breakfast, this is a low-budget hotel right on the Baltic Sea. Parking is €5 a day, and the tourist tax is another €3 daily. If you only need somewhere to sleep and have breakfast, it does the job. Personally, next time I'd pay a few extra euros for more comfort. The atmosphere is a disaster. The furnishings are dated, kitschy, and old-fashioned, and it looks as if nothing has been invested in the place for decades. The bed was awful: I could feel every feather, and the pillow seemed to be all cotton wool. The courtyard felt like a dive in Bulgaria. Around the building, everything was neglected and dirty, with battered wooden benches and a generally worn, mismatched look.
